Wish the nearly 200 students in Lambaye luck as they begin the first-ever Lambaye Innovation Challenge. We are so grateful to the U.S. Embassy in Dakar for making this possible!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the U.S. Embassy in Dakar has awarded Students for Senegal, the maximum allowable grant award to create a new science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) program at the Lambaye Learning Center: The Lambaye Innovation Challenge (LIC).

On Sunday June 14, 2020 Students for Senegal hosted our first ever virtual SeneGALA. Over 300 people tuned in to a one hour long presentation and to the world premiere of the documentary Jangubi: a place to learn, by Jack Belisle. The film was wonderful and can be watched here and the gala was a huge success, raising over $20,000!

A huge thank you to one of our strongest supporters, Laura Lavan who created an amazing sculpture of our logo to be displayed in the Lambaye Learning Center!

More than 50 students, parents, and community members came out to run with us today.  Students handed out finisher ribbons at the end of the Kids Gobbler Race and everyone had a wonderful time. This event caps off one of our most successful fundraisers ever!
