Thanks to the extraordinary generosity and dedication of our community, the Lambaye Learning Center now has a fully operational solar power system!
A $15,000 Investment in Long-Term Sustainability

This momentous achievement was made possible by the incredible success and support we received at SeneGALA 2025. The funds raised at the gala were directly channeled into this vital infrastructure project, which represents a $15,000 investment in the future of the center and the students it serves.
The lights are on! We are thrilled to report that the installation is complete, and everything is working wonderfully.
A commitment to sustainability: This solar power system dramatically increases the center's long-term sustainability, reducing reliance on less reliable or expensive power sources.
Empowering education: Reliable electricity means consistent light for evening study hours, powering computers, and enhancing the overall learning environment for hundreds of students.
Source of Sustainable Revenue: Power can be sold back to the grid or local community members can be charged a small fee to charge their devices providing both a key community service and an important stream of revenue to the center for sustainable operations and long term financial stability.
